The story of the HORST Dreidel continues!
Since we first made them, the HORST Dreidel has been such a cool product – so cool that it was nominated for the Coolest Things Made in Connecticut awards. We were thrilled to be part of this year’s competition. Our aerospace quality precision machined titanium dreidel with a 3D printed one-of-a-kind custom case was featured amongst many other innovative products.
We have stepped it up a notch for the 2025 edition. Titanium is back! Plus, we have several awesome new colors.

The HORST Dreidel was featured in the new book, Then, Now, Next: Connecticut Museum 200 Years and Counting. Talk about cool! One of our titanium dreidels with stand is displayed in the exhibit by the same name and is now in the museum’s permanent collection. Purchase and learn more about the book here. A dreidel דרײדל or sevivon, is a four-sided spinning top. The game of dreidel is traditionally played during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah but can be enjoyed at any time.
The dreidel is a variant of the teetotum, a gambling toy found in many European cultures. Each side of the dreidel has a letter of the Hebrew alphabet: Nun נ Gimel ג He ה Shin ש which together form the abbreviation for Nes Gadol Hayah Sham נס גדול היה which means “a great miracle happened there.”
How It’s Made: don’t you want to know? HORST Dreidels are made from aerospace grade titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum using processes developed for commercial and defense aircraft components.
