89th Annual Manchester Road Race
We are excited to sponsor the 89th Annual Manchester Road Race, happening Thursday, November 27th, Thanksgiving Day!

It’s incredible that this institution has brought together the community for so many years. In addition to sponsoring Veterans’ Row for the eighth time, we have many connections to the race. Our president, Scott Livingston, has completed the race 35 times, including 30 years in a row, and in 2024, he was the first finisher in the 50-54 age group. His entire family competes in the event, including spouse Debbie who has 25 straight finishes, daughter Dahlia, and son Shepard, who is pictured in this year’s program advertisement.

At 79 years old, HORST Engineering may be a bit younger than the race, but we share the same commitment to tradition and community spirit. Next year the race will be held for the 90th time, and we will be 80. This week at the annual press luncheon that kicks off “race week” festivities, Hartford Health Care announced an important three-year partnership to ensure that the event continues long into the future. Many Manchester Road Race luminaries were present including past winners and legendary volunteers. One past winner is Amby Burfoot, who is also a Boston Marathon champion. He will compete in his 63rd straight race. Another past winner, Patti (Lyons) Dillon is this year’s Honorary Chairperson.

Nearly 15,000 participants will run or walk the 4.737-mile event. There is still time to join in the fun and support the many great nonprofit organizations that benefit from race proceeds.

Register here and be part of this historic event.
See you on Thanksgiving in Manchester!
