For the fourth time, we are sponsoring Vetarans’ Row at the Manchester Road Race. This year will be the 85th running of the famous Thanksgiving Day road race in Manchester, Connecticut. We are 75 years old, so the race may trump us in age, but we have equally rich histories.
Over decades, members of the Horst Engineering community have been involved with the Manchester Road Race. Many of our employees run the race, volunteer at the race, and spectate at the race. “Manchester” is the original “Turkey Trot” and remains one of the largest in the nation with nearly 10,000 runners and more than 30,000 spectators. One employee has run the race 31 times including 26 in a row and he will toe the line again this Thanksgiving!
The Manchester Road Race is pleased to honor the service of the men and women who have served our country in the military. Horst Engineering is proud to support the Manchester Road Race in their efforts to raise veteran awareness. So, if you aren’t going to run the road race, come on out and cheer!
