HORST Dreidel is Back for 2021!
In 2020, the HORST Dreidel brought much joy. It is fitting that we decided to make more for 2021. We have a lot to celebrate this holiday season. In the last month, we had the Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening of our new factory. We celebrated Manufacturing Month. We hosted an Open House. We honored our Veterans. On top of all of that, we celebrate our 75th year as a family business.
Hanukkah is early this year, and we are happy to share the excitement.
A dreidel דרײדל or sevivon, is a four-sided spinning top. The game of dreidel is traditionally played during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, but can be enjoyed at any time.
The dreidel is a variant of the teetotum, a gambling toy found in many European cultures. Each side of the dreidel has a letter of the Hebrew alphabet: Nun נ Gimel ג He ה Shin ש which together form the abbreviation for Nes Gadol Hayah Sham נס גדול היה which means “a great miracle happened there.”
HORST Dreidels are made from aerospace grade titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
