For the fifth time, we sponsored Vetarans’ Row at the Manchester Road Race. This was the 86th running of the famous Thanksgiving Day road race in Manchester, Connecticut. We are 76 years old, so the race may trump us in age, but we have equally rich histories.
Over decades, members of the HORST Engineering community have been involved with the Manchester Road Race. Many of our employees run the race, volunteer at the race, and spectate at the race. “Manchester” is the original “Turkey Trot” and remains one of the largest in the nation with nearly 10,000 runners and more than 30,000 spectators. One employee has run the race 33 times including 28 in a row.
The Manchester Road Race is pleased to honor the service of the men and women who have served our country in the military. HORST Engineering is proud to support the Manchester Road Race in their efforts to raise veteran awareness.
