HORST Dreidel 2022
The HORST Dreidel has brought much joy since we started making them. We are thrilled to present our 2022 edition. Hanukkah starts at sundown on 18 December, but don’t wait. A dreidel דרײדל or sevivon, is a four-sided spinning top. The game of dreidel is traditionally played during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, but can be enjoyed at any time.
The dreidel is a variant of the teetotum, a gambling toy found in many European cultures. Each side of the dreidel has a letter of the Hebrew alphabet: Nun נ Gimel ג He ה Shin ש which together form the abbreviation for Nes Gadol Hayah Sham נס גדול היה which means “a great miracle happened there.”
HORST Dreidels are made from aerospace grade titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
