Our new factory is officially open for business!
On Tuesday 12 October, we launched a new chapter in the history of our company. With a ribbon cutting ceremony, we marked the grand opening of our state-of-the-art factory at 141 Prestige Park Rd.
This dramatic reinvestment culminates a multi-year project and highlights the beginning of a comeback in the aerospace industry. This expansion of capabilities and capacity will spur our growth in aerospace as well as our diversification in new high tech markets for precision machined components. The ceremony also marked our 75th anniversary as a family business.
The event was attended by members of Team HORST, family, friends, and several dignitaries. Featured speakers included Scott Livingston, HORST Engineering’s third generation President and CEO; Stanley Livingston, HORST Engineering’s former President; U.S. Representative John Larson; State Senator Saud Anwar; State Representative Jason Rojas; Colin Cooper, State of Connecticut Chief Manufacturing Officer; and Mayor Marcia Leclerc.

Thank You!
It took teamwork to execute our renovation project and move during a difficult period of time. Much appreciation goes to our employees, our customers, our general contractor, the subcontractors, our suppliers, and our advisors.
This is another reminder that we consolidated all our operations. This includes Sterling Machine, our former Massachusetts site.
HORST Engineering and Sterling Machine remain separate entities with separate customer and government approvals, but we operate with one AS9100 quality management system, and one team. We will work with each of our customers and suppliers to clarify paperwork requirements as we move forward.
Please update our contact information with the new address so that we get your shipments, mail, invoices, orders, and other correspondence. Thank you!
