The build-up to Family & Friends Day started earlier in the year. We don’t know the exact day HORST Engineering was founded because it didn’t happen in an instant. In 1946, Harry Livingston first rented space at 602 Garden Street in Hartford and started taking work. Official business registration came in 1947. There have been many changes since then.
We have been celebrating throughout 2026 and that culminated with us welcoming the members of Team HORST, their family, and friends to our factory during Manufacturing Month. We are thrilled with the outcome of this event and grateful for our incredible team. Next year we will celebrate 81 and just keep going!
