Financial Wellness

Life, Disability, and AD&D Plans
We provide both Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefits at no cost to eligible employees. In addition, we also offer disability benefits that are designed to protect employees’ income if they are unable to work due to illness or injury. Our Short-Term Disability benefits are for eligible employees at no cost to them.
401(k) Plan
The HORST Engineering 401(k) Plan provides employees with a tax-advantageous way to save for retirement, and all employees are auto-enrolled to contribute 4% of their eligible compensation with the ability update that amount at any time. We match employees’ pre-tax contributions dollar-for-dollar up to the first 2% that employees contribute to the Plan.
Employee Discount Program
HORST has partnered with Lifeworks to provide coupons and discounts to restaurants, retailers, travel, entertainment and other services. This program is free to all employees.

F3 Wellness Team
Our F3 (Fit, Form, Function) Team is a sub-group of our Employee Engagement Team. This group provides employees with opportunities to participate in company-wide events, webinars, and local wellness challenges that encourage healthy lifestyles and habits.
Employee Assistance Plan
HORST Employees and their dependents can take advantage of our Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) at no additional cost. This program provides 24/7 access to consultant that can assist with obtaining the services of attorneys, financial or licensed counselors/therapists and much more. Included with this plan is up to five in person and five virtual therapy sessions.

Tuition Reimbursement
The HORST Tuition Reimbursement Program encourages and supports employees in their personal efforts to further their education by providing financial assistance (up to a maximum annual amount).
