In April 2013, Horst Engineering and Manufacturing Co. acquired the assets of Sterling Machine Company, Inc. of Lynn, Mass., a manufacturer of precision machined components primarily for the aerospace industry. In 2016, the company celebrates its 50th year in business. The addition of Sterling Machine to the Horst Engineering Family of Companies has greatly expanded our production of components for aircraft engines.

Sterling Machine’s core processes included turning, milling, Swiss screw machining, screw machining, centerless grinding, and honing. Our quality management system is AS9100 registered.
