Horst Medical featured in the Hartford Business Journal

Horst Engineering’s medical business was featured in a front page story in the April 5th edition of the Hartford Business Journal. In an article, titled, “Close Fit,” Scott Livingston, Horst Engineering’s President and CEO, was quoted regarding the company’s expansion into the medical device marketplace. Many cyclical manufacturers have diversified their businesses with medical component production. Horst Medical produces medical instrumentation, tooling, and implants for the orthopaedic, dental, and general surgery sectors. Horst Engineering’s medical business unit consists of dedicated resources, equipment, and plant space, and is headquartered at the company’s renovated 41 Cedar St. plant.
