Horst Engineering Hosts ACC Machine Technology Program Students

Horst Engineering recently hosted a tour for the most recent graduating class from Asnuntuck Community College’s Machine Technology Program. ACC’s program was founded in 1997 and with recent investments, has renewed its focus on the precision machining sector. The college supports employers in Northern Connecticut. Our company has partnered with ACC and Manchester Community College by offering plant tours and internships. We have employed graduates of both programs and support what the Connecticut Community Colleges are doing to help manufacturers with their skilled labor shortages. Precision machining and other high technology manufacturing processes require  and the education system needs to adapt to employers’ needs.
