Growing Connecticut’s Supply Chain Conference

Today, our businesses participated in the Growing Connecticut’s Supply Chain Conference, hosted by the US Department of Commerce, the Connecticut Department of Economic Development, and United Technologies Corporation.

The event was held at the Pratt & Whitney Hangar in East Hartford, Connecticut, the city where Horst Engineering has its headquarters. Featured speakers included Governor Dannel Malloy,  Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty, US Senator Richard Blumenthal, US Senator Christopher Murphy,  and Congressman John Larson.

The event brought together a host of federal and state agencies that have banded together to support aerospace manufacturing businesses throughout Connecticut and New England.

The aerospace industry is showing positive signs of a growth and the supply chain is critical for the success of the large aircraft, engine, and components manufacturers.
