2016 ACM Annual Meeting

Last week, we were represented at the Aerospace Components Manufacturers annual meeting at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

We are business members of the museum, and it is always fun to visit. We frequently raffle admission tickets to our employees. The ACM has grown dramatically. There are now 104 member companies from Connecticut and western Massachusetts. ACM is a cluster of small and mid-sized suppliers from the Aerospace Alley, otherwise known as the Connecticut River Valley.

The Valley has one of the highest concentrations of aerospace components manufacturers in the world. At the event, we heard from both peers and industry leaders about the incredible number of new aircraft and aircraft engine programs in development. New technologies are driving innovation in the industry. The Horst Engineering Family of Companies is proud to be part of ACM and excited about our market’s growth.

ACM’s Future WorkForce Opportunities Fair and Tradeshow is growing and will be at the Connecticut Convention Center on 9 November, 2016.
