Last week, Horst Engineering, Thread Rolling Inc, and Sterling Machine were represented at the Aerospace Components Manufacturers (ACM) workforce development fair and trade show.
785 middle school and high school students toured more than 50 exhibit booths. Each booth was manned by one of Connecticut’s precision manufacturers. It was a great way to show a large group of youth how important precision machining and manufacturing are to Connecticut’s economy while highlighting career opportunities.
The afternoon session focused on peer to peer interaction within the ACM and we hosted several major aerospace OEM customers.
