The 2018 North American Handmade Bicycle Show comes to Hartford, Connecticut 16 February through 18 February. NAHBS will be right in our “backyard,” at the Connecticut Convention Center. This is the first time in its 14 year history that the event will be in New England.
The show will feature some of the preeminent bicycle frame builders and bicycle component manufacturers in the country. We are using the opportunity to kick off the Team Horst Junior Squad season and the team will tour the show. The entire weekend will have a junior cycling theme as we seek to get more kids interested in the sport.
The Team Horst Junior Squad is a Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program (CCAP) affiliated team. CCAP is NAHBS’ charitable partner, and is hosting the Hartford Bike Party, on Saturday night at the Arch Street Tavern.

Horst Engineering’s roots are in the cycling industry. Our founder, Harry Livingston (Horst Liebenstein), learned the tool and die trade at a German bicycle factory, and his efforts inspired Team Horst Sports, and our Cross Spikes™ product line.
Recently, we collaborated with frame builder Richard Sachs, to build the Seat Post Lug Survival Kit.
NAHBS promises to be a fantastic event. Come to Hartford and check it out!
